The Notre Dame Breakfast Club is a tradition that spans over 25 years in Santa Ana. Every Sunday, alumni and friends gather to serve our less fortunate brothers and sisters at the Southwest Community Center. The volunteers serve a hot breakfast that changes from week to week and feeds approximately 100 people. A lively production, the morning air is punctuated by a lot of jokes and laughter as the volunteers strive to be present to those they serve as well as those with whom they are serving.
It's a small way that the Club can give back to the local community and a very real way to realize the Mission of the University to instill "a disciplined sensibility to the poverty, injustice and oppression that burden the lives of so many". One of the best things the Club does, join us as we strive to bring some of the Notre Dame spirit of solidarity with the less fortunate to Orange County.
