Summer in Silicon Valley

Summer in Silicon Valley will not be offered in 2022. The next on-campus info session for the Summer 2023 program will be announced in the fall.

Summer in Silicon Valley is an immersive 6-week, in-person off-campus study program for undergraduate students in all areas of study based in Silicon Valley, the global center for technological innovation and home to the most dynamic and exciting tech corporations and startups. Summer in Silicon Valley participants will live and study in Palo Alto, CA, which is the center - and original birthplace - of Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. The next program runs from June 12 - July 21, 2023, and is open to students from across the University, including all Colleges, all majors, and all classes.

The program offers students the exciting opportunity to study on location in Silicon Valley with Notre Dame faculty, peers, and our immense alumni network. Summer in Silicon Valley courses and experiences are aligned with critical skills in high demand across Silicon Valley and global technology-based industries. The program provides an integrated experience that will help prepare students for non-computational careers in tech. Summer in Silicon Valley will focus primarily on these areas:
